Purpose
To discuss proven evidence that can be accepted by medical practices that will lead to early detection of colorectal cancer.

Learning Objectives
1. Explain the importance of offering both high quality stool blood testing and colonoscopy as colorectal cancer screening options.
2. Select appropriate colorectal cancer testing for each patient, consistent with screening and surveillance guidelines.
3. Identify the elements of a high-quality stool blood testing program and colonoscopy services.
4. Utilize resources available to assist primary care physicians in the implementation of quality screening programs/services.
