Community Planning Groups

Local and regional planning groups have been established for many communities.  These groups may be comprised of government agencies, regional planning commissions, citizens, community planners, business leaders and other interested parties.  Planning groups contribute to decisions on matters such as economic development, hazard mitigation, disaster recovery, zoning and code ordinances, transportation planning, and comprehensive plans.
Contact your local government or regional planning commission to find out about planning groups in your area.
